By combining polypropylene with industrial 3D printing using Multi Jet Fusion, Karl Späh GmbH is opening up new design possibilities, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. Initial projects in the company’s "Additive Manufacturing" technology center have already demonstrated the potential of this approach. Until now, industrial use of polypropylene was primarily limited to injection molding, making it cost-effective only for large production volumes. The MJF process now enables the production of prototypes as well as high-quality series parts from PP.

The key advantage: Polypropylene offers exceptional chemical resistance, excellent ductility, high elasticity, and low weight—making it an ideal material for a wide range of applications.
