Innovative and profitable - 21st rapid.tech 3D focuses on the future of additive manufacturing
Preparations for the 2025 session of Germany’s longest-standing AM specialist event are well underway - with added value from the concurrent Quantum Photonics event.
(Erfurt, 29. October 2024). After rapid.tech 3D is before rapid.tech 3D: Preparations are in full swing for the 21st session of Germany’s longest-standing specialist additive manufacturing (AM) event, which will take place at Messe Erfurt from 13 to 15 May 2025. Visitors and exhibitors will also benefit from the concurrent Quantum Photonics event on 13 and 14 May 2025.
Ideas and solutions for greater profitability and competitiveness
“Innovative and profitable - the future of additive manufacturing” - under this banner, the rapid.tech 3D specialist conference will spotlight cutting-edge technologies, real-world applications and pioneering AM trends. “We are focussing on the topics that are most beneficial to the industry in these challenging times: increased profitability and competitiveness through more efficient technologies and processes. With the support of our dedicated advisory boards and strong industry and science partners, our conference, exhibition and networking event will provide visitors with fresh ideas and solutions in a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Quantum Photonics, which is running in parallel on 13 and 14 May, will provide further added value. This will be our first event dedicated to quantum technologies and photonics. Given the role additive manufacturing plays in optical quantum technologies, the synergy between the two events delivers added value for visitors and exhibitors,” says Michael Kynast, CEO of Messe Erfurt GmbH.
An inspiring programme with strong partners
The rapid.tech 3D specialist conference programme will once again be offering inspiring keynotes, in-depth specialist presentations and interactive discussion panels. The trade forums focus in particular on practical benefits for users, presenting the latest developments and examples of best practice from key sectors such as aerospace, mobility, defence, chemicals and process engineering, electronic engineering and components, energy technology and hydrogen, as well as software, AI and design. The VDMA-AM4industry Forum also invites attendees to explore robotics, and the VDMA Additive Manufacturing Working Group is once again acting as the strategic sponsor of the rapid.rech 3D event. Likewise, the DECHEMA Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, the Research Association for Spatial Electronic Assemblies 3-D MID and the European AM technology platform AM-Platform will be continuing their co-operation with rapid.tech 3D.
Call for papers and early bird exhibitor discount until 15 December 2024
An integral part of the conference programme is the quality-assured AM Science Forum. This session will present new insights, innovations and scientific advancements across the entire additive manufacturing process chain. Submitted contributions are double-blind reviewed by the rapid.tech 3D Scientific Review Committee, which is made up of leading AM scientists from renowned universities and research institutes. Successful submissions will be presented as part of the programme and published in Springer Nature Progress in Additive Manufacturing (PIAM) or the RTe Journal.. Both publications are once again partnering the Science Forum.
Anyone interested in submitting a paper should do so by 15 December 2024. For more information on the process, visit:
