Materialise is a pioneer and market leader in the development and production of 3D-printed parts used in the aerospace sector. The company has delivered more than 500,000 3D-printed aerospace parts for the whole aviation value chain, with approximately 4,000 different types of parts printed per year.
What has enabled the breaking of the barriers for our customers to adopt these technologies? The current material scope is limited, but which polymer technologies are looming on the horizon and broaden the scope of applications. Mostly lower critical parts now, what does it take to move up the criticality ladder?
