The manual removal of support structures from additively manufactured components, which is still
carried out using hammers and chisels in many production environments, is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. With the innovative SupportBlaster 320-HA, toolcraft presents a pioneering solution that revolutionises this process and adapts it perfectly to industrial requirements.
The SupportBlaster 320-HA is a semi-automated ice blasting system that enables precise, reproducible and highly efficient post-processing thanks to an integrated teach-in function. During the presentation, this technology will be presented using a practical case study that illustrates how efficiency, quality and process reliability in additive manufacturing can be raised to a new level.
The presentation will also provide an outlook on future automation potential: production lines can be fully automated through the targeted use of modern robot technology, such as automated loading of the ice blasting system. This represents a further step towards highly automated production processes ready for series production.
Experience how toolcraft pushes the boundaries of automation in additive manufacturing and delivers solutions that are truly ‘ready for production’.
